Here are some shots of Pete's new shop in Ohio which I took a while back. These shots were taken very shortly after he moved in, so Pete did not have everything all neat and tidy just yet.
This is a router table in the making (and don't give us any guff! Pete and I had had a few beers before we started this! Notice Pete passed out on the table saw in the background.):
But, he quickly recovered!
Here is Pete playing with his wood.
Tons of ash for bodies:
And lots of mahogany and sapele:
Fancy stuff for tops and boards:
Here is Pete's security system:
And what happens to your bass if you don't pay on time!

Here are some outside shots.
Pete's house and shop (and my bass gear hauler!):
The view across the street (really pretty down there!):
And a bonus shot of Pete putting the finishing touches on a certain Lion's Pride Model-A 5-string.

Wow , Those were some early shots ! Things have changed so much since then and I didn't realize it until I saw those first shots of the first weekend .
Thanks for posting these Tom , It will help people see the transformation as it has happened .

Pics from Saturday.
I didn't get any pics of Pete's wood stash or ANYTHING on the lower level, but it was pretty impressive too. Very cool workshop.[/img] |
