Can anyone list a few recordings that we know were made using Skjolds?

If you can find a copy of Gretchen Wilson's "All Jacked Up" that has the bonus live tracks on it you can hear my second Skjold 6 on those. I'm pretty sure it was the version of the album that was sold at Wal-Mart. I'm not sure if the bass is mixed loud enough to get an idea how huge sounding it is, though. You can see it in the photos section on page 2 (#19 & 20, I think).

The best recent one came during Memorial Day weekend at a show in Minnesota. I walked into the venue and pulled my bass out of the gig bag and a guy immediately came up and asked, "Hey, man - is that a Skjold?" He'd heard about them but hadn't see/heard one in person. Needless to say he was impressed...

You can hear one of my Thunderbeast Skjold 6-strings (not sure which of the two yet) this Saturday night on the Grand Ole Opry. On regular radio it's on 650 AM (which you can hear in a large part of the country) or you can hear it live online at www.wsmonline.com. I'm not sure of the exact times, but you can find out later in the week at www.opry.com - the artist I work with is named Rockie Lynne. MD

My custom 92 can be heard on the tracks C'est la D'or and Heroes Out at www.myspace.com/haich
neither of the mixes are perfect, we're actually having a really hard time getting the recorded sound as good as the live sound!
For reference C'est la D'or is a blend of the di from my summit td100 preamp and my bergantino ip310 cabinet and Heroes Out only uses the summit.

The playing is incredible but the bass sounds out of this world. Awesome tones, Pete!!

Thought you'd appreciate this, Pete. I used my sunburst 6 on a session Tuesday night & one of the crew guys came up and asked me about it. His quote was, "That might be the best sounding bass I've ever heard!" Hope you're doing well...
