Just wondering what everyone is using around here. Myself--a Walter Woods Ultra with the Berg mini stack. I was, however, blow away with an Eden 800 / Epifani UL210 rig. Now I'm rethinking my setup. I play mostly Jazz/Fusion and World music. I love things that are lightweight. Very Happy And long walks on the beach. Since I double on upright, I like my rig to work well with both.

With no plans to change soon....

I'll be using my Demeter HBP-1 Preamp on my Bergantino IP112 +/- EX112.

My primary amp is Epifani PS 600, and Epifani UL 3x10. The rig gets compliments everytime I play. The soundman, band members and the audience always rave about the tone. Next, I have a SWR SM 900, and the Goliath, and Goliath Jr. cabs. Nice stuff, but not the quality of the Epi rig. For small rooms or rehearsals, I have a Mesa Boogie Scout. Last but not necessarily least is my Gallien Krueger 1001RB II head with a 2x12 neo and a 1x15 neo cab.

Euphonic Audio Iamp800 and two CXL112E cabinets.
I also have a GK 1001RB-II as a back up.

Strongly considering getting a "big rig". Possibly a GBE1200 and a Schroeder 210212L.
We'll see what the wife lets me get away with!

I bounce around between a Thunderfunk 550B and an Eden 405 Time Traveler, and now a Markbass Little Mark II (LMII).

I typically use a pair of EA NL-210's and a customized Hartke Pro2200 with NEO's in it, but have recently acquired a pair of Epifani UL310's that I drive with a Stewart World 2.1, using either the Eden or TFB as a preamp.

I have pretty much settled on my Mesa M2000 through a EA NL210. I am looking forward to testing the Markbass R500 when it ships though.

I just had a rehearsal yesterday with the Woods/Berg rig. I only used one 12. It really kicked, but I'm really spoiled, having played the HT322. In my effort to find the lightest cabinet that still delivers, I'm going to spend some quality time with the Epi UL310.

Tom, have you ever tried the UL310/WWU combo? BassSpecialties should have one in stock soon. I may camp out their and check it ou.

I am a huge fan of the WWU, and a huge fan of the UL310, but I have not tried the two together. I think Ken Jung has, though.

Tom.

WHHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTTT?????? Shocked Question Shocked Question

Please pardon my egregious use of emoticons, but --- how could that be??

J/k--I will let you know how they match up if I should get a hold of one. I had another rehearsal on Sunday on upright, and the WWU/Berg HT112 is an amazing combo. I just need a bigger box for electric.

Anything more than that, my wife would leave me! Wink

So i will weigh in with my rig(s)
Aguilar DB750 and a ThunderFunk TFB550B that rotate between Epifani UL112(x2), Epi NYC-115, Bergantino NV610, Acme B2(x2). I had major back surgery in '05 and am opting for lighter gear these days. I have toyed with the idea of unloading my DB750 for a WWU, and my Berg NV610 for who knows what, I'm not sure if anything can substitute the NV610 that's lighter. I had a Epi UL310 that i let get away because I could not pair it with anything, should of just gotten a second UL310. May be the way I go if I unload the NV610. Yea, a pair of UL310's.
BTW anyone have any experience with the Dr Bass line of cabs?

My main stage rig is an iAMP800 with either 2 NL-210's or 2 VL-208's. For rehearsal, I use the iAMP with 2 Bag End 15's. All of the combinations sound fantastic with my Custom 5. Gee, what's the common denominator here? BTW - I just picked up an Accugroove Whappo JR., but have only played it a bit at home (it sounded fantastic), can't wait to hit it with the low "B" string live - should be Shocked
